Description du poste

  • The Human Resources (HR) Specialist provides support and tactical implementation in the areas of Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits,
  • Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and Workforce Planning. He/ She provides valued solutions to management for the implementation
  • of HR initiatives.
  • Leverages Business Relationships to Achieve Goals
  • Promotes highly effective relationships with the service centers, business management, recruiting organizations, external customers, and peers, locally and globally, to share accountability and provide valued support for achieving business goals.
  • Shares feedback with Region level management to communicate the effectiveness of HR processes with the service centers and HR function for the review and modification of HR processes and procedures.
  • Provides Tactical HR Support
  • Assists management with utilizing HR tools
  • Consults with business management to proactively manage employee concerns, reduce HelpLine calls, engage in the maintaining non-union status process, and prevent escalation of complaints
  • Provides Business Solutions via Human Capital
  • Provides coaching on routine issues related to policy and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a basic knowledge base, consistent time management skills, and strong organizational skills to provide effective consultative and tactical partnerships.
  • Runs Queries and Reports and Provides HR Admin and Support
  • Collects information from various HR systems to align the employee tables in a designated format
  • Manages Workforce Planning, Recruiting, & Hiring         
  • Works with HR and business management to assist in the implementation of recognition programs and corporate programs designed to reduce turnover,impact employee retention
  • Troubleshoots errors from various sources to answers questions, process requests,and research system problems.
  • Receives cross-departmental ad hoc requests to resolve incoming inquiries from managers.
  • Supports various company's departments to create,disseminate,and develop reports.
  • Manages the hiring process to ensure hiring needs are met timely
  • Manages candidate sourcing to ensure requisition needs are promptly filled with quality candidates
  • Evaluates recruiting and interviewing processes to assess success rates and make process improvements.
  • Monitors employment processing to confirm the company's compliance with local government and other requirements.
  • Develops recruiting relationships with local colleges, universities, community organizations, and other groups to aid in sourcing quality candidates.
  • Interviews candidates to aid in the selection of the right talent for the right positions within the company

Profils recherchés pour ce poste

  • University or Bachelor degree
  • Strong in MS Excel, and good knowledge on MS Access, PowerPoint, Word and Visual Basic      Fluency in English (other language is an asset)  
  • People and Results oriented; makes things happen
  • Good presentation/communication skills (oral and written)        
  • 2-4 years of work experience in HR        
  • Excellent copywriting
