As an Industry Segment Sales Manager, you will be responsible to lead all regional and local marketing and sales activities products, systems, services - within the defined industry segments and ensure that the related Business Units substantially increase sales, margins and market share and customer satisfaction in the selected market segments. You will also develop and implement a market-based strategy including direct, third party and project sales, and build relationships with key external influencers to educate, inform and solicit support. In this position, you will be based out of Casablanca, Morocco. Your Tasks as an Industry Segment Sales Manager will include;

  • Interpreting the global industry segment strategy to meet Region / Country requirements and implement with country specific action plans. Lead the definition of the industry group footprint (market presence, execution standards and delivery model).
  • Defining key targets (e.g. volume, prices, portfolio mix) and ensure these are achieved for the segment(s). Ensure detailed business/sales plans are in place with regular follow up. Driving the growth of the top line in each target industry segment.
  • Activating operation intelligence, benchmarking and analysis in order to identify best processes, equipment, automation practices, etc.
  • Ensuring value proposition for the target segment is developed and well communicated (internally and externally). Supporting local sales organizations to ensure they are positively perceived in the target segment(s). Actively participating in the development of international standards and regulations by identifying and influencing the appropriate external bodies (including government, legislative bodies, technical and trade associations).
  • Providing feedback to the Business Units / Product Groups on market developments and requirements.
  • Ensuring that the major accounts in the segment(s) are identified and prioritized. Acting as Account Manager for one or more major accounts in the Region / Country.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships at senior levels with the key stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the team is well prepared and has the necessary internal support to pursue and manage large project contracts. Helping negotiate complex legal and commercial international frame agreements.
  • Identifying and managing risk relating to contract agreements and prices across segments.
  • Using standard reporting tools to accurately identify future opportunities and measure progress by segment.
  • Ensuring (with HR Manager Support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies. Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.

Profils recherchés pour ce poste


To be considered for this position, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5 plus years of professional experience in the Industry. Strong business acumen, especially with proven customer management skills in sales, problem-resolution, and relationship-building. Experience in managing Profit & Loss is a plus. Fluency in English, French and Arabic languages is a must.
